Mission

“We continue the mission of Jesus by Proclaiming the Good News of Salvation”

In the promotion of the dignity of every human being, Our Lady of Guadalupe is our model of mediation. The Mother of the Lord inspires us unceasingly to live Christ’s priesthood within the very expression of our identity.

Our apostolate in the Church is to evangelization and catechesis, specifically among the indigenous peoples, migrants, and the marginalized. Our ministry aims, in particular, to respond to the pastoral needs in areas where the presence of priests is scarce.

In the proclamation of the Good News of salvation to the men and women of all peoples and nations, we strive to continue the mission of Jesus. In our apostolates, through word and witness, we endeavor to spread the reign of the Holy Spirit throughout the whole world.

We are Guadalupanas by our very nature and spirit. We embrace the Guadalupan mission as a perfectly acculturated model of evangelization. Through it, we are called to promote the dignity of the poor; and strive to reflect the maternal face of God by presence, mercy, accompaniment, and compassion. We work to enable people to assume ownership of their own history and guide them to exercise their role in the common priesthood through ecclesial communion and participation.

By our special consecration to the One whom we follow, we make every effort to incarnate the Gospel in the richness of diverse cultures. We live our prophetic charism by upholding justice and the dignity of all human life, in harmony with Creation.
